As I sterilized you for a final time this morning I couldn't help but remember all of the time we have spent together this last 12 months.
You sat next to me in the car each time I drove to work. You tagged along with me to Dance Competitions, and weekend get aways. You were there for me every 3 hours during my long days at the office. We have become dear friends.
You are not as shiny and new as you were when I had Lyza, but hey neither am I. No matter how you look or how tired you are, you have given your best to me and my kids.
So as I pack you away in your box and in the basement...I will miss you.
Until we meet again old friend.
I hope you have another round in you!

Oh what a friend she has been. In fact, I think your deepest secrets lie with that pump!
She definitely has another round in her...get going!
Tear! Mine is still sitting on my floor in my bedroom. Such mixed emotions when I decided to stop (well actually when my new job made me stop). I have two bags of milk left from my stock supply before I stopped pumping and they have to get used this week or they'll go bad. I am really sad about it...kind of want to save them for some strange reason. Probably because it was the hardest but best thing I have ever done!
I never really looked at my pump as my friend before but it makes sense. Breast milk is like liquid gold!
Oh I even see a picture of that thing and I start to twitch.
Reee--reee, reee -reeee, reee- reee
