Last Saturday it was time for the family to have a Salon Day. Seriously with the amount of hair my children have, I should have become a cosmetologist and saved myself thousands of dollars. However, then I wouldn't be friends with the most amazing stylist in the world.
We gathered everyone in the car early last Saturday morning and headed out to see this favorite Stylist of ours. The conversation in the car on the way over went something like this:
Lyza: Mom/Dad, is Lezlie going to cut my hair today?
Me: Yes Ly Ly...remember the last time she cut your hair?
Lyza: Yep, is Lezlie the only person who can cut my hair?
Me: (Visualizing what is going through my very creative daughters mind) YES Lyza, no one else ever cuts your hair except for Lezlie. (As I have a flash forward to the day Lyza thinks she can give herself her own cut and style.)
Long pause from Lyza....she is thinking I can sense it.
Me: Lyza, What are you thinking about.
Lyza: Oh nothing...(smirk on her face)
Me: (Oh help us!!)
Once we got to the salon we had such a great time. Lyza didn't stop talking to Lezlie the entire time. Seth didn't quite know what to think of his time getting cut and styled. I got some much needed attention in the hair department. And best thing of all was that daddy was there to referee the children the entire time.
Chalk this day up to a success! Thanks for making the Bull Family look good Lez!
