We are home bound today! I came to this realization at about 4:30 this morning when Lyza woke up with a fever and the flu. You feel so sad for the little ones when they don't feel well. So we slept (if you can call it that) for the rest of the night on the floor in our bedroom.Lyza kept asking me, "Mommy, did you ever get sick when you were little?" and I said yes. Then she said, "Did you lay on your mommy's lap in the bathroom like I am?" "Um Sure???" I replied.
So I guess I will be working from home today and trying to make the little one feel better. I am so sad because Lyza was so excited to go to my baby shower tonight and open presents...but I think she might be in "quarantine" still.
Here is to a day at home.
